At Flat Closure NOW, we believe in informed healthcare decisions regarding mastectomy. We believe that the resources to make these decisions should be accessible by all. You can find our brochure here. Download, print (on the front & back of the paper), fold & distribute to your local breast surgery, oncology, and medical clinics, breast cancer support groups, or wherever and to whomever you'd think would find this information helpful. Grassroots work like distribution these brochures is vital to spreading our mission (thank you in advance!)
3. share, follow & USE OUR HASHTAG:
You can’t order something that’s not on the menu. The reconstruction decision is one that all mastectomy patients must face, and we need ALL of our options clearly laid out so that we can make the choice that’s right for us. Right now, too often, going flat is either trivialized or not mentioned at all. Whenever breast mound reconstruction is discussed, going flat should be discussed also. When we #putflatonthemenu, flat closure reconstruction will be discussed alongside breast mound reconstruction so that women can make the choice that’s right for them.
